I’m busy wrapping up a week of travel and have tons of stuff to share with you when I get back from New York. Yep, I’m in New York right now and loving every single minute of it. In fact, I’m trying to convince my husband to come up here for the weekend because I just don’t want to leave. It’s not really working but I should at least get an A for effort. So many food places I didn’t get to visit this time and I’m craving a sweet treat something fierce.

I love a simple dessert in a pinch and this easy Pumpkin Affogato is at the top of my list. Freshly brewed coffee, a scoop of pumpkin ice cream and you have a sweet treat that’s the perfect ending to any fall dinner party.

Take the flavor up a notch by selecting one of the Harry & David flavored coffees, I used Caramel Pecan to add a bit of buttery flavor but you can change things up and use YOUR favorite. I also love the Creme Brûlée coffee and it’s amazing with this mint chocolate chip but with fall comes pecan so that’s where we went with it. 🙂 The ice cream and coffee blend together beautifully to create a spoonful of blissfully sweet cream. The flavor is similar to a latte but infinitely better. You can experiment with your favorite flavors and create a brand new dessert every single day!
