An easy appetizer you can whip up in minutes during the holiday season. Cranberry Relish Cheddar Crackers are made with just 3 simple ingredients and are perfect for entertaining. Ready in a flash…and will disappear just as quickly.
So, November is here….I can’t even believe it. The month of October flew by so quickly and I had BIG plans to have most of my Christmas shopping done by Halloween. I bought absolutely nothing. Not one thing. But it’s fine because I have all of November to pull it together and lots of great ideas….in the meantime, I’m coming up with a few easy recipes for those times when you don’t have time to entertain but people want to be entertained anyway. You know those people…the friends that show up unannounced and you hear the doorbell ring…and start to panic because you didn’t order anything from Amazon so who could possibly be ringing your bell? Right? You’re wearing sweatpants from college, and your husband’s socks, so WHO could possibly be at the door.
Well, they’re there and they brought wine. So, this easy recipe will save the day…I promise. Cranberry Relish Cheddar Crackers are just three ingredients…and three ingredients you can keep on hand the entire holiday season for…you know, those people. I whipped them up for our Halloween party the other night and they took me a total of 8 minutes, including bake time. The melty cheddar goes so incredibly well with Harry & David Cranberry Relish and it’s all perched on top of a crisp cracker for a bite your dropper-inners will love. Harry & David Cranberry Relish is one of my favorite pantry items this time of year. It’s tangy and sweet, fantastic on so many different things like a grilled cheese sandwich or a pile of waffles. I keep a few jars on hand for entertaining emergencies…they happen quite a bit this time of year. It’s also a fun substitute for my tomato jam in these savory cheesecakes!
Cranberry Relish Cheddar Crackers are perfect for parties, too, because they’re simple to prep in advance saving you some time in the kitchen when guests arrive. Serve in addition to your usual cheese tray and a platter full of stuffed mushrooms. Pair with a fun cocktail like an Apple Cider Gin Fizz for a festive soiree your friends will never want to leave.
