Fluffernutter Dip

We are OFFICIALLY in the full swing of back to school time….complete with compressed schedules!!! I was resisting the back to school celebrating because I know that really it adds much more stress with the busy mornings, homework and short days to get everything done before the kids come home with the afternoon hangries.

The afternoon snack is a big deal in our house because my little guy has lunch around 10:30 am. So, it’s more like brunch…needless to say he’s starving and in a mood by the time he gets home so I now have the added task of whipping up something for him to nosh on as soon as he walks in the door. That leaves me with little time to get everything done.

He’s a big fan of Fluffernutter Sandwiches so I thought a fun Fluffernutter dip recipe would be a great way to get him to eat more fruit and to fill his belly just enough to help him make it to dinner. This Fluffernutter dip comes together so quickly with just a few simple ingredients it’s also great for a kids party as a fun charcuterie board dip!

What is a Fluffernutter?

Common in New England, a Fluffernutter sandwich is like a Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwich but made with peanut butter and marshmallow fluff instead. It’s a staple from my childhood that I like to morph into other fun food twists like this easy kid-friendly fruit dip recipe.

How do you make a Fluffernutter dip?

I was able to find everything I needed to create this fun and sweet fluffernutter dip recipe at my local ACME Market! To create the dip itself I used Open Nature Creamy Peanut Butter because it has THE BEST peanut-ty flavor and it’s ultra smooth making it perfect for swirling into the fluffy cream cheese mixture made by whipping together a block of cream cheese and marshmallow fluff.

Then for dipping, I found the most amazing cookies from ACME’s O Organics® line of products. We love the O Organics Vanilla Animal Cookies, O Organics Chocolate Chip Cookies and the O Organics Mini Peanut Butter Sandwich Crackers the best for dipping along with an assortment of fruit. But the O Organics Honey Graham Crackers were fabulous, too….even to make mini Fluffernutter sandwiches!

Visit ACMEMarkets.com to find a store near you and discover more meal prep tips and recipe ideas.

I love that I can find everything I need to create fun after school snacks using O Organics cookies and crackers when I stop in to grab my weekly groceries at ACME Markets.

O Organics products are my favorite and have been for years not only because of the high quality USDA certified organic ingredients I can identify on the ingredient list. The price is right, too! AND their snack items get a big stamp of approval from the little guy.

I also find the freshest produce right when I walk into the store, everything from seasonal fruit to freshly spiralized zucchini “noodles” that help make dinners come together in a snap!

This kid centric Cookie Charcuterie board is a fantastic idea for impromptu after school parties which happen frequently at our house. And if the adults are tagging along I love to whip up this Layered Mexican Hummus Dip for something a little more savory or this super popular Hot Crab Dip. Either way you’re winning at the after school snack game!
