I have a dirty little secret……I’m messy. Not in a dirty, unhygienic way…..no, I’m more of a disorganized messy. I have a hard time keeping track of things like keys and dog leashes…..and sunglasses. And sometimes even my favorite coffee mug. It’s not for lack of trying but the piles of magazines and mail and paper and toys that manage to pile up in a matter of minutes makes it difficult for me to keep track of the things I need at the ready. Like my keys. And I’ve found that if I just keep them in their “spot” then I’ll know where they are when I need them.

So, I partnered with Moen to create a few “spots” for my favorite things….like my super, mega coffee mugs that manage to vanish in the kitchen cabinet. I decided to take a pair of their gorgeous brushed nickel robe hooks and hang them under the cabinet right next to my coffee maker….creating a cute and functional coffee station.

The Moen robe hooks made the spot look elegant and efficient, making my morning coffee ritual a pleasant experience. They were easy to install and add a bit of charm to the space. And everyone is stunned to hear they’re ROBE HOOKS! 🙂

Then I moved to the laundry room/mud room where a lot of things tend to pile up. To make morning walks with the dog a bit easier, I attached the Moen towel bar to the wall then hung a fun and functional three-section basket with drapery rings. You can use something more permanent, like wire, but the drapery rings allow me to remove the basket so the rod can double as a laundry drying rack.

We mounted the Moen towel bar right above the dog bowls to create sort of a “Dog Command Center” with everything we need for our walk….dog leash, treats, keys (which is great because they now have a home!), bug spray and doggie waste bags!

Never did I think I’d ever feel less scattered than I do now that all my morning essentials have a permanent home.
