Infused Water

I struggle every single day to drink enough water. It’s just not fun! Or flavorful. Unless I squeeze a ton of lemon into my glass, it’s just not really going to happen or happen happily. It’s always been a problem of mine every since I kicked my soda habit years ago. So, I had to come up with some clever and colorful ways to get my ounces in each day.

To keep my daily requirement from being boring, I like to add some flavor and vitamins to my water to keep things interesting by making Fruit Infused Water. It’s simple to whip up and keep in the fridge making your daily hydration flavorful.

What is Fruit Infused Water?

Infused Water is just water that’s been lightly flavored with fruit, vegetables and herbs. Not only is it flavorful, the ingredients add nutrients and vitamins to otherwise bland water.

How to Make Infused Water

Fruit Infused Water couldn’t be easier to make and I’m sharing my favorite ways to keep things interesting without adding sugar or artificial sweeteners. Oranges or clementines add their own natural sweetness to the party without the calories of refined sugar. They pair perfectly with a variety of other ingredients which makes it fun to get creative.

  1. Add your selected ingredients, fruit, herbs, vegetables or spices to a large pitcher or water bottle.
  2. Fill the pitcher or water bottle with water.
  3. Chill for 4 hours or up to 24 hours.
  4. Enjoy!

Infused water can be made up to 4 days in advance. Remove any fruit, vegetables or herbs after 24 hours and store the infused water in the refrigerator.
