Celebrate St Patrick’s Day with 6 Great Recipes

St. Patrick’s Day always sneaks up on me even though it’s one of my favorite festive days of the year.  The Irish really know how to party….unfortunately, I can never keep up…I’m that person in the corner of the bar waiting for the night to end.  Beer is not my friend….but I look fabulous in green.  If I could go to an Irish pub and eat the filling comfort food with one or two pints without going deaf on St. Patrick’s Day, that’s my idea of a good time.  I know, lame.  I will probably be banned from every Irish pub within a 100 mile radius for admitting that.

Good thing I have some great recipes from my blogger friends to make on my own….and share with all of you!  If you’re more of the quiet and reserved “honorary” Irishman on St. Patrick’s Day these recipes will help you celebrate into the early hours of the evening….and you will still make it to bed at your regularly scheduled 9:30 PM bedtime.  Or is that just me.

Either way, you can enjoy these delightful treats while listening to U2 at a reasonable decibel during dinner or while watching The Voice.  I sure know how to party!

  1. Kellie your Beef and Ale stew looks delicious – If my husband saw that…I would not get even a smidgen to taste!!
Meanwhile, I’m the gal that would happily ride the Erin Express form pub to pub…Lol! (But some of the sheer silliness does get to me!) Don’t worry, your secret is safe with me!
