Ingredients
  • 1 loaf french bread cut in half both horizontally and vertically
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove cut in half
  • 1 cup reheated bolognese sauce
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded asiago cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded sharp provolone cheese
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Brush the cut sides of the bread with olive oil and place cut side up directly on an oven rack. Toast the bread in the oven until crisp and then transfer to a baking sheet.
  2. Toss the shredded cheese in a bowl until combined and set aside.
  3. Rub the cut sides of the bread with half a garlic clove and top with 1/4 cup bolognese sauce. Repeat for all remaining bread halves. Top each with equal amount of cheese and return the bread to the oven on the baking sheet. Turn the broiler on high and melt the cheese until golden and bubbly, approximately 3-4 minutes.
  4. Serve immediately.
