Ingredients
  • 4 large egg yolks
  • 2 tablespoon water
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/8 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 16 tablespoons melted butter cooled to room temperature
Instructions
  1. Add the yolks, water, lemon and salt to a blender. Blend the ingredients until smooth and then slowly add the butter in a thin stream until an emulsion forms.
  2. Transfer to a serving dish and serve immediately.

Do not reheat in the microwave! To reheat, pour the sauce in a small saucepan and gently reheat over low while stirring constantly.
