  • 2 cups self-rising flour
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream plus 1 tablespoon
  • pinch of kosher salt
  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
  2. In a large bowl, stir the flour, cream and salt until the batter is smooth.
  3. Lightly knead with your hands and then form into a circle about 1 inch thick.
  4. Cut out the biscuits using a 2 inch biscuit cutter.
  5. Arrange the biscuits approximately 2 inches apart on a baking sheet lined with parchment.
  6. Bake the biscuits for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Serve warm or at room temperature.
