  • 2 ounces high quality tequila
  • 1 ounce Cointreau
  • 1 ounce fresh lime juice
  • margarita salt
  1. Dip the rim of each glass into a shallow bowl of water and then dip in the salt. Set aside.
  2. Combine tequila, Cointreau and lime juice in a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
  3. Shake for 30 seconds and strain into each glass.
  4. Garnish with fresh lime, if desired and serve immediately.
