dark chocolate chips

salted butter softened

Instructions
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Divide the flour between two 16 ounce mason jars.
Divide the sugar evenly between the two jars and pack down tightly.
Top with the chocolate chips and seal with the lid.
Tie a ribbon around the lid, if desired.
To Bake the Cookies:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Pour the contents of the jar into a large bowl.
In a smaller bowl, beat the butter, vanilla and eggs together until combined.
Add the butter mixture to the dry ingredients and stir until the dough forms.
Drop the dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake for 9-11 minutes or until golden brown.
Transfer to a wire cooling rack and then store in an airtight container.
