1poundasparagusrinsed and woody ends trimmed
1lemonsliced
1/2teaspoonkosher salt
1/4teaspoonground pepper

Instructions
Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add 3/4 cup water or enough to cover the bottom of the pan. Cover and bring to a simmer.
Add the asparagus and half the lemon, cover and cook for 3-4 minutes until the asparagus is crisp-tender.
Drain the water and arrange the asparagus on a platter.
