2tablespoonscornstarch or flour
2cupsbeef stock
1tablespoonworcestershire sauce
1teaspoongarlic powder
1/2teaspoononion powder
1/2teaspoonkosher salt
1/2teaspoonpepper
Instructions
Melt the butter in a heavy saucepan over medium heat. Whisk in the cornstarch or flour, cooking for 4-5 minutes until the roux begins to turn golden brown.
Whisk in the stock.
Continue cooking and whisking until thickened.
