1 12ouncebag white chocolateI used Wilton Candy Melts
20large donut holes
1 24ouncepackage pre-made fondantI used Wilton White Decorator Preferred Fondant
1/2cupconfectioners' sugarfor dusting
40candy eyesI used Wilton Small Candy Eyes
20cake pop sticks
Instructions
Melt the chocolate in the microwave according to the manufacturers instructions. Dip one end of the cake pop stick into the chocolate and insert it into the donut hole being sure not to go all the way through. Set aside to allow the chocolate to harden. Repeat with remaining donut holes.
On a clean surface, sprinkle a little confectioners sugar and spread it to create a thin layer. Roll out a softball size ball of fondant out until about 1/4 inch thick. Using a biscuit cutter, cut out circles and set aside. Cover with a damp cloth to prevent the fondant from drying out while you cut out the remaining circles. You should cut 20 circles. (for 20 donut pops) Spread more confectioners' sugar on your work surface and roll out each circle until they're all paper thin. Keep covered with a damp cloth while you work.
Place a dime sized circle of water in the center of each circle and place on top of the donut pop so it drapes down over like a ghost. Using a toothpick or wooden skewer, place a dot of melted chocolate on the back of an eye and place it on the ghost to start the face. Repeat with a second eye. Continue gluing eyes on all the ghosts until they're all done. Using the pen, draw a mouth or any other decoration you'd like on your ghost.
Store in an airtight container for up to 36 hours.
