Add the strawberries to a blender or food processor and puree until smooth.
Strain through a mesh sieve to remove the seeds, if desired. (optional)
In a large pitcher, combine the lemon juice, water, strawberry puree and simple syrup.
Stir in ice and lemon slices, if desired.
Serve garnished with lemon slices, mint and strawberries, if desired.
Strawberry Lemonade can be made up to 5 days in advance. Store in the refrigerator in a covered pitcher. Stir before serving.To freeze, transfer to a freezer safe container and freeze for up to 6 months.
