Ingredients
For the Taco Pinwheels:
1lblean ground beef
2 1/2tablespoonstaco seasoning
1/4cupwater
1pizza dough
1cupshredded Mexican cheese
For the sauce:
1/2cupplain greek yogurt
1/2cupranch dressing
1tsplime juice
1tspchopped fresh cilantro
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400˚F.
Brown the ground beef in a large skillet. Drain.
Stir in taco seasoning.
Add water and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Roll out the pizza dough.
Spread the ground beef over the pizza dough.
Sprinkle with cheese.
Roll the dough up jelly roll style.
Cut into 1/2 inch rounds.
Arrange the pinwheels on a baking sheet.
Bake for 12-14 minutes until golden and puffy.
To make the sauce:
Add the yogurt, dressing, lime juice and cilantro to a bowl.
Stir to combine.
Serve immediately with the sauce for dipping, fresh salsa and chopped fresh cilantro.
Notes
Taco Pinwheels can be prepped ahead and wrapped tightly with plastic wrap before slicing. Store in the refrigerator until ready to serve.Unwrap and slice before arranging on the baking sheet. Bake as directed.
