1Day old Baguettecut into 1/4 inch slices
2tablespoonsbuttermelted
1/4cupolive oil
1garlic clovesmashed, optional
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
Slice the baguette crosswise into 1/4 inch thick slices In a small bowl, stir together the butter, olive oil, and garlic.
Brush the oil mixture on both sides of the bread. Arrange the bread on a baking sheet.
Bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 5 minutes, or until lightly toasted. Flip and bake for an additional 3-4 minutes until toasted and crisp.
Remove from the oven and cool to room temperature.
Top with your favorite toppings.
Notes
Crostini can be made up to 1 week in advance. Store in an airtight container at room temperature.
