Ingredients
1lbbulk breakfast sausage
3tablespoonscornstarch
2 1/2cupshalf and halfor whole milk
1teaspoongarlic powder
1/2teaspoononion powder
1/4teaspoonground nutmeg

Instructions
Heat a large skillet over medium high heat and add the sausage to the pan crumbling the sausage with a fork or spatula as it cooks. Cook the sausage until it’s no longer pink
Sprinkle the cornstarch evenly over the sausage and continue to cook for 1-2 minutes longer.
Stir in the half and half, slowly, continuing to stir so no lumps form and the gravy is smooth.
Add the garlic powder, onion powder and nutmeg. Continue to cook until the gravy is thick enough to coat the back of a spoon.
Remove the gravy from the heat and serve over biscuits, mashed potatoes or waffles.
