Simple, flavorful, and delicious chicken wings, perfectly crispy from outside and juicy from inside! These chicken wings are drizzled with honey soy sauce, which is sticky, sweet, and salty with a punch of garlic.
This Honey Soy Chicken is the ultimate comfort food that can never let you down and with Air Fryer, it’s so much healthier than takeout.
In a large bowl mix all the ingredients under marinade.
Remove half of the marinade. Add the chicken wings to the leftover marinade and let it rest in the refrigerator for 6 hours OR overnight.
Preheat the air fryer for 5 minutes at 350 degrees F / 180-degree C. Put the chicken wings in it (6-7 per batch). Cook for 5 minutes on one side then turn the chicken and cook for another 5 minutes or until nicely browned. Repeat with the rest of the chicken wings.
Next heat a pan over a medium-high flame and add reserved marinade, cook until the sauce thickens and set aside.
To serve, drizzle the sauce over the air-fried chicken and then garnish with sesame seeds, chili flakes, and chopped spring onions.
Notes
You can store the honey soy chicken in an airtight container for 4 days in the refrigerator or for around 3 months in the freezer.
