Place all ingredients in the bottom of a slow cooker or crock pot and stir to combine. Place the lid on the slow cooker and cook on high for 4 hours or low for 6-8 hours.
Transfer the apple mixture to a blender and puree until smooth.
Transfer the apple butter to an airtight container and store in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks.
