Crisp apple slices topped with gooey caramel, creamy marshmallow dip, crunchy granola, dried cherries and mini chocolate chips make these easy Caramel Apple Nachos a fun snack or dessert.
2Red Gala applescored and sliced about 1/4-inch thick
2Granny Smith applescored and sliced about 1/4-inch thick
1lemoncut in half
1/2cupmarshmallow fluff
1/4cupsour cream
1/2cupcaramel sauce
1/2cupgranola
1/2cupdried cherries
1/2cupmini chocolate chips
Instructions
Arrange the sliced apples on a large serving platter and squeeze the lemon juice over the apples. Pat lightly with a paper towel if needed so the toppings will stick.
Beat the marshmallow fluff and sour cream together in a medium bowl until smooth.
Drizzle the marshmallow mixture and caramel sauce over the apples.
Sprinkle with granola, dried cherries and mini chocolate chips.
Serve immediately.

Notes
For the best texture, serve the apple nachos immediately after assembling. Honeycrisp, Fuji or Pink Lady apples can be substituted for the Gala apples.
Dried cranberries or raisins can be substituted for the dried cherries.
To prevent browning without adding much lemon flavor, stir 2 tablespoons honey into 1 cup water and soak the apple slices for about 30 seconds. Drain and pat dry before assembling.
If the caramel sauce is too thick to drizzle, warm it briefly until pourable.
