Melt the marshmallows and butter in a large saucepan until smooth or melt in the microwave for 2 minutes. Stir, then microwave on High for 2 minutes more. Stir.
Add the coloring, vanilla and cornflakes mixing quickly to combine.
Drop by spoonfuls in small piles on parchment paper and decorate with 3 red candies each.
Once cool, transfer to lightly greased serving/storage tray with lightly greased fingers.
