Place the cocktail sausages in the bottom of a crockpot or slow cooker.
Add the barbecue sauce, brown sugar and bourbon. Stir to combine.
Place the lid on the slow cooker and cook on high for 2-3 hours or low for 4-5 hours.
Serve the Little Smokies directly from the crockpot with toothpicks for serving or transfer to a chafing dish to keep warm.
Notes
Each package of lil smokies contains about 40 cocktail sausages. If you don't like smoked sausages, cocktail weiners work well. This recipe should feed approximately 24 people as an appetizer.
