Garlic confit
The easy flavor bomb you need to keep stashed in your kitchen, Garlic Confit is easy to make! Tender, nutty garlic cloves are roasted in olive oil for the most amazing spreadable, smashable, appetizer ever.

garlic cloves

extra virgin olive oil
Fresh Herbs

Instructions
Preheat the oven to 300 degrees.
Arrange the garlic cloves in an oven proof dish and pour the olive oil over to cover.
Stir in herbs, if using.
Transfer to the oven and bake for 45 minutes or until the garlic is tender, golden brown and can easily be pierced with a fork.
Remove the garlic from the oven and transfer to an airtight container being sure the garlic is fully submerged in the oil.
Refrigerate for up to 2 weeks or freeze for 3 months.
Notes
Garlic Confit can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
