Moisten the rim of a martini glass with water or gingerbread syrup and dip into the gingerbread crumbs to coat the rim. Repeat with the remaining glasses.
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
Add the vodka, bailey's Irish creme, Coffee Liqueur, gingerbread syrup and heavy cream to the cocktail shaker. Close tightly with the lid and shake vigorously for 1 minute.
Pour the gingerbread martini into four martini glasses and top with whipped cream, if desired. Serve immediately.
