How To Toast Pecans
A healthy snack and the beginning of so many tasty recipes, Toasted Pecans are easy to make in just minutes. Keep a batch on hand to toss in salads, oatmeal or just to add a bit of crunch to your favorite baked goods.

raw pecans
Instructions
To toast in the oven:
Preheat oven to 325 degrees
Line a large baking sheet with parchment or a silicone baking mat.
Spread the pecans in a single layer on the sheet.
Toast the pecans in the oven for 8-10 minutes, tossing occasionally.
Cool to room temperature and use in your favorite recipes.
To toast in a pan:
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat.
Add 1 cup of the pecans to the skillet in a single layer and toast.
Cook the pecans for 4-5 minutes, tossing occasionally.
Remove from the pan and repeat with the remaining pecans.
Cool to room temperature and serve.
Notes
Toasted Pecans will stay fresh in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 7 days.
