Ingredients

Brussels sprouts

cup
maple syrup

tablespoons
olive oil

tablespoons
melted butter
1/2
teaspoon
kosher salt
1/4
teaspoon
fresh ground pepper

bacon
cut into 1/2 inch pieces.
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Trim the Brussels sprouts by removing any brown or yellow leaves and cutting off the stems.
Cut the sprouts in half and add to a bowl.
In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, olive oil and melted butter.
Pour the mixture over the Brussels sprouts then season with salt and pepper. Toss to coat.
Arrange the Brussels sprouts on a baking sheet lined with foil or parchment and spread out into a single layer.
Sprinkle the bacon over the sprouts and transfer to the oven.
Roast for 15 minutes, then stir with a wooden spoon to ensure even browning.
Roast for an additional 30 minutes and stir again.
Continue roasting for another 10-15 minutes or until they’re fork tender and the bacon is cooked.
Serve immediately.
Notes
Roasted Maple Brussel Sprouts can be served hot or at room temperature.
