Strawberry Margarita Recipe
A fresh and easy Strawberry Margarita made with real strawberries, lime juice, tequila, and orange liqueur. Perfectly balanced and not too sweet, great for parties or a refreshing summer cocktail.

Ingredients

tequila

oz
fresh lime juice

orange liqueur
1 to 1½

strawberry purée

simple syrup or agave
optional
Ice
Salt for rim

Strawberry and lime slice or wedges
for garnish
Instructions
On the rocks:
Shake all ingredients with ice and strain over fresh ice.
Frozen:
Blend all ingredients with ice until smooth and serve immediately.
Notes
Taste before serving - strawberries vary in sweetness
Skip sweetener if berries are naturally sweet
Add jalapeño slices for a spicy version
Strawberry preserves can be used in a pinch
Multiply for a pitcher and shake individual servings for best texture
