Juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection in minutes, these Air Fryer Burgers are the ultimate easy weeknight dinner. Make them classic or turn them into cheesy Air Fryer Cheeseburgers with just one extra step.
Form beef into 4 patties, about 3/4-inch thick and press your thumb gently into the center to create an impression. This step will keep your burgers from shrinking into a ball.
Whisk butter, Worcestershire sauce, and seasoning in a small bowl with a whisk until smooth. Brush the butter mixture over the burger patties and season with pepper.
Arrange the burger patties in the basket of an air fryer leaving room in between each burger. (Work in batches if needed).
Air-fry the burgers for 7 minutes, flipping halfway through the cooking time, for medium doneness. Add 2 minutes for well-done.
To make cheeseburgers, top the burger patties with cheese in the last 20 seconds.
Notes
Cooking times may vary depending on the brand and size of your air fryer. Add water to the bottom of the basket if your air fryer seems smokey from the fat dripping into the bottom of the air fryer.Ground chicken, ground bison, ground turkey, or plant-based meat alternatives are all great substitutions.
