Peppermint Mocha Hot Chocolate Stirrers
An easy, homemade gift that’s simple and so amazingly tasty, you may have a hard time giving them away. Perfect in a gift basket or to serve at your upcoming holiday parties.
It’s coming…are you ready? The holiday season is almost here….if you’ve been to the mall…it may already be here. In fact, it’s so HERE at our mall that there’s already been an uproar about the new Santa habitat….is it a habitat? A display? Whatever, it looked like the planet Krypton in the movie Superman. It had to go. And so it did and we are already on our second Santa habitat of the season. So, I started my holiday shopping much earlier than I normally do and it’s actually been a bit of a relief. Aside from the fact that I get to extend the holiday falalalaing a little longer than usual, I’m also much less stressed because I have a plan.
I have a plan for those hard to shop for people in my life…and those people that just drop in to say “Merry, Merry” without any notice. You know, the one’s that brought a little holiday joy and you didn’t have them on your list to check off once, let alone twice. THIS year….that’s not a problem because I have the perfect gift to have on hand for those sweet people that like to show up while I’m fresh out of the shower. THIS year, I stocked up on GODIVA gift boxes from Walmart to share with friends and family because who doesn’t love chocolate? They’re an inexpensive way to show someone you’re thinking of them. I dressed up the boxes a little bit with some ribbon and homemade gift tags that I created with mini chalkboard tags I purchased at the craft store. I used a chalk marker to decorate them and attached them with some double sided tape. Simple yet stunning.
I also like to include the GODIVA gift boxes in my gift baskets. Those that know me know well that I love making gift baskets for my friends and family. I love the variety you can include and the themes are endless. For this one, I went with a chocolate/coffee spin by creating these super easy, three ingredient Peppermint Mocha Hot Chocolate Stirrers. You can use the stirrers in a steaming cup of milk to create the ultimate hot chocolate or do what I did and use it to flavor your morning brew. Either way, this is a gift that everyone will love! It pairs perfectly with homemade gingersnap cookies, easy salted caramels and GODIVA chocolates. Want to make it extra special, throw in a gift card to the recipients favorite store which you can also pick up from Walmart and you will have just gifted the best present ever. Visit Walmart this holiday season for GODIVA Chocolate Gift Boxes. Available in three 9PC varieties and also a 15PC Dark All-of-a-Kind. (while supplies last).
