If you enjoyed my Crispy Air Fryer Salmon, then youโ€™re going to love these air fryer salmon bites too! Theyโ€™re basically the bite-sized version of the fillets, which means they do double-duty as a main dish for a weeknight or as an appetizer. And like the fillets, theyโ€™re quick and easy to make, with fantastic flavor and texture!

The air fryer method ensures you get that satisfying crispiness without the need for lots of oil, making this dish a healthier alternative to traditional fried options. And then to elevate the flavor even more, we drizzle the bites with creamy bang bang sauce, which is the perfect sweet-and-spicy complement to the savory, crispy salmon bites.

Tips for Making Air Fryer Salmon Bites

Here are some tips to ensure your air fryer salmon bites turn out perfect!

  • Cut the salmon into even size bites. If theyโ€™re all different sizes, theyโ€™ll all finish cooking at different times!
  • Donโ€™t overcrowd the air fryer. Arrange the salmon bites in a single layer, ensuring enough space between the pieces for air circulation. This helps them cook evenly and achieve maximum crispiness! If thereโ€™s not enough room to cook them all in a single batch, cook them in multiple batches.
  • Serve immediately. These salmon bites are best enjoyed fresh out of the air fryer while still hot and crispy.

Seasoning Variations

One of my favorite ways to switch up this recipe is to use different seasoning blends. Swap out the seasonings in this recipe and try Classic Cajun Seasoning or Lemon Pepper Seasoning.

You can also serve this recipe with different dipping sauces, or skip the sauce altogether and just serve with a squeeze of lemon juice.

How to Store and Reheat Leftovers

Store leftover salmon bites in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, place the salmon back in the air fryer and cook at 375หšF for 3-4 minutes, or until heated through and crispy again.
