Gingerbread Cheesecake Smoothie

We’re just a couple short weeks away from Christmas! Yay! To keep energized during my workouts and holiday shopping trips I try to satisfy my sweet tooth while packing in some healthy stuff. This Easy Gingerbread Cheesecake Smoothie is one of my favorite protein packed snacks.

It’s quick and simple, perfect for breakfast or a great post workout snack. It’s VERY similar to this Strawberry Cheesecake Smoothie except I ditched the strawberries then spiced it up with molasses, nutmeg, cinnamon, allspice and vanilla. A frozen banana thrown into the mix makes it extra creamy without it becoming overly icy from a bucket full of ice cubes.

Smoothies are always a great choice when the holiday season hits because they’re filling and quick to make in minutes. This holiday smoothie recipe is always a fantastic addition to Christmas brunch.

  1. Add all the ingredients to a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth.

See how simple that is? We love it as much as our Pumpkin Pie Smoothie!

I like to whip up an Easy Gingerbread Cheesecake Smoothie as a grab and go snack when I head to my local spin studio. It’s light, creamy and ready in about 2 minutes.

This blender is a workhorse in the kitchen and crushes even the most frozen fruits or veggies with easy. Great for smoothies, soups, dressings and more.

How To Make Smoothies Advance

While we love how quick this smoothie is to make, sometimes I like to make it in advance and store it in the refrigerator for a grab and go breakfast.

Simply make the smoothie as directed and store in the refrigerator until ready to enjoy. It will become more liquid and thinner if you make it in advance but it’s still tasty.
