Taco Pinwheels
A great option for the school year or tailgating season, Cheesy Taco Pinwheels are so easy to make with your favorite taco fillings.
Your taco seasoned ground beef is rolled up with cheese in a tender pizza crust before being sliced into pinwheels and baked into a fluffy, chewy taco treat!
How To Make Pinwheels
A party staple and after school must, pinwheels are easy to make with just about any filling you can think of. This Taco Pinwheel recipe is our all-time favorite to make for every occasion.
Brown the ground beef in a large skillet. Drain.
Stir in taco seasoning, we like to use our homemade taco seasoning but the Signature Line Taco Seasoning is great, too!
Add water and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Roll out the pizza dough.
Spread the ground beef over the pizza dough.
Sprinkle with cheese.
Roll the dough up jelly roll style.
Cut into 1/2 inch rounds.
Arrange the pinwheels on a baking sheet.
Bake for 12-14 minutes until golden and puffy.
Serve immediately.
How To Serve
We love to serve them with a creamy Cilantro Lime Dipping Sauce that comes together in pinch.
The fresh, creamy, light flavor is the perfect compliment to the hearty, cheesy taco pinwheels.
Arrange on a platter with chopped romaine lettuce, fresh salsa, cilantro and lime wedges for an epic party plate.

How many pinwheels does this recipe make?
It really depends on how big you slice them. Sometimes I get 8 and other times I have 10.
This looks delicious and I am making it tonight. I don’t see an oven temp anywhere to bake them at. What temp should we bake them?
Thanks! Love your recipes!!
