Ingredients
- 4-5 sweet onions, sliced into 1/4-inch slices
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 tablespoons butter, cut into 6 pieces
- 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tablespoon dried parsley
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350หF. Coat a 13×9 inch baking dish with cooking spray.
- Arrange 1/2 of the onions on the bottom of the casserole dish.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the garlic powder, onion powder, italian seasoning, dry mustard, cayenne pepper, salt and pepper. Sprinkle half the seasoning over the onions. Repeat with remaining onions and seasoning.
- Arrange the butter on top of the onions and top evenly with Cheddar and mozzarella cheese. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and dried parsley.
- Bake in the preheated oven until onions are tender and cheese is melted, bubbly, and golden brown around the edges, approximately 35 minutes.
