Million Dollar Dip

If you’ve never had million dollar dip, you’re in for a delicious surprise when you smear your cracker with this flavor packed appetizer! Seriously, this is the best crowd pleasing dip you could ever offer at a party.

Between the savory bacon, crunchy almonds and fresh green onions, every bite of this legendary dip is incredibly satisfying. The consistency of the dip itself is creamy and smooth, making it perfect to spread on your favorite cracker or crispy baguette.

So, where did that unique name come from, anyways? Million Dollar Dip was first created by a woman named Helen Corbitt, who worked at Neiman Marcus’ Zodiac Restaurant. That’s why it’s also referred to as Neiman Marcus dip!

How to Make Million Dollar Dip

Just like any good dip recipe, million dollar dip is super easy to make. All you need are six simple, inexpensive ingredients and about 5 minutes of your time! It doesn’t get much easier than that.

As long as you have a large bowl and a mixing spoon, you’re prepared to make million dollar dip.

  1. Combine. Add all ingredients to a large mixing bowl.
  2. Stir. Stir everything together until it’s fully combined.
  3. Serve. Serve your million dollar dip with your favorite crackers, chips, or baguette slices, and enjoy!

Storage

In an airtight container, this cheesy dip will stay fresh in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.

Make sure the container is truly airtight, though, or this dip will go bad pretty quickly.

How To Make In Advance

This is a great make ahead recipe. If you’re planning on serving this flavorful dip at a party, I recommend making it the day before and keeping it in the fridge until you’re ready to serve it!

If you do choose to make this dip in advance, reserve the bacon and don’t stir it in until right before you serve it. That way, the bacon stays crispy and fresh. If put in the dip too prematurely before serving, it could go limp and lose it’s texture.

What Bacon To Use

Real pork bacon is the absolute best in million dollar dip. There’s just something about the texture and flavor that cannot be beat!

If you’re in a pinch, bacon bits can be substituted for real bacon, but I don’t recommend it. Real bacon is infinitely better!

If you’re trying to avoid red meat, turkey bacon or vegetarian friendly bacon options can also be used.

When you serve this unforgettable dip, make sure to offer lots of dipping options! People really won’t be able to get enough of this cheesy, savory, creamy million dollar dip.

In fact, if you’re serving it at a party, consider making a double batch… just in case!
