Sparkling Christmas Sangria
Loaded with winter fruit and spices, Sparkling Christmas Sangria is a festive holiday drink that’s easy to make with red wine, sparkling blood orange water, and orange liquor. A great option to ring in the New Year, too! (Must be 21 or older to enjoy.)

Christmas Sangria
We love to create a signature cocktail for the holidays but I never want it to be fussy. Mixing up individual drinks or shaking a cocktail shaker each time we want a cocktail doesn’t make for a festive gathering.
My favorite drinks are those that can be mixed up in a pitcher or a big punch bowl so friends and family can serve themselves. And since our gathering will be a bit smaller this year, I skipped the punch and whipped up a festively sparking Christmas Sangria recipe.
What is Christmas Sangria
This easy Sparkling Christmas Sangria is simple to make. Traditional Sangria is like a fruity wine punch originating in Spain and Portugal.
It’s often made with red wine, fruit and can also include other spirits but you can really make Sangria with your favorite wine and fruit to suit your own tastes. I made this easy holiday sangria recipe with Cabernet Sauvignon, Blood Orange Sparkling Water, sliced blood oranges, orange liquor, cranberries, cinnamon sticks and green apples.

How To Make Christmas Sangria
This sangria recipe couldn’t be simpler to make.
- Slice the oranges and apples, then add them to a large pitcher.
- Add the wine and orange liquor to the pitcher.
- Stir in the cinnamon sticks and cranberries.
- Allow the sangria to sit for 1 hour or up to 5 hours.
- Right before serving, add the sparkling water.
- Serve with more fresh fruit, if desired.
It’s super simple to make in minutes and all the ingredients can be found right in your local grocery store.
