Easy Marshmallow Cream Cheese Fruit Dip
Serve up a bowl of this Marshmallow Cream Cheese Fruit Dip with a platter of fresh fruit for an easy snack that will satisfy the sweet tooth. This simple Fruit Dip recipe is made with marshmallow fluff, cream cheese and a splash of vanilla making it a cinch to whip up on the fly.

I’ve been reaching waaaaayyy back into my arsenal of comfort foods lately. Things that I remember from my childhood and things I think you may remember, too.
This easy Cream Cheese Marshmallow Fruit Dip is one of my favorite things ever. I remember this one from parties we hosted and could, literally, stand around with a bowl of it dipping away all day long.
It’s made with just three ingredients and they’re things we always have in the kitchen. So, this dip is one of those recipes I whip up at a moments notice to entertain impromptu guests….even when they’re few and far between lately.
You may know this as Cream Cheese Fruit Dip or just Marshmallow Fluff Fruit Dip but I know it as completely and utterly addicting. It’s perfect for dipping any type of fruit in so there really are no rules for dipping, it even makes the best dip for fruit trays or these fruit kabobs. And it’s super similar to this Fluffernutter Dip I made a few years ago but this one is perfect for those that have nut allergies.
Simple Ingredients You Will Need
- Cream Cheese – For the best flavor use regular cream cheese and not the low-fat cream cheese or fat-free cream cheese. You’ll get a much creamier dip with a richer flavor. Be sure the cream cheese is room temperature before you start making the recipe to eliminate any lumps in your dip.
- Marshmallow Fluff – I’ve been using marshmallow fluff or marshmallow creme to make this easy recipe for decades. It’s the tried and true ingredient to add sweetness. If you don’t like marshmallow fluff, you can double the amount of cream cheese and blend in a tablespoon or two of brown sugar with a squeeze of lemon juice. Add 1 cup of cool whip or homemade whipped cream to give the dip the fluffy, airy texture you would get with marshmallow fluff.
- Vanilla – A splash of pure vanilla extract makes this creamy fruit dip taste heavenly.

How To Make Fruit Dip
This is, by far, one of the easiest cream cheese dip recipes you’ll ever make.
- Combine cream cheese, marshmallow fluff and vanilla in a large bowl.
- Beat the ingredients together with a hand mixer or stand mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy.
- Transfer to a serving bowl. Serve with fruit and dip away!
Pro Tip For Impossibly Creamy Dip
To ensure your dip is light and fluffy, start with room temperature ingredients to they blend well without any lumps!

My favorite hand mixer by KitchenAid has been in my kitchen for over 20 years. So handy for making frosting, mashed potatoes, fluffy dips and shredding chicken. And isn’t this color divine. Comes in a variety of fun color ways.

What is Fruit Dip?
Fluffy and light, this dip is a staple at every party we host. Easy Marshmallow Cream Cheese Fruit Dip recipe is, also, made in about two minutes flat.
All you need to pull it together is cream cheese, marshmallow fluff and vanilla extract. You can add other flavorings if you’d like such as lemon zest or orange extract but I love the pure, clean flavor of vanilla.
We serve it with fresh berries, sliced apples, grapes and bananas but it also doubles as an excellent sweet sandwich spread or top your morning French toast with a smear of it.
On occasion, I’ve even used it as a filling for this Belgian Waffle Cake. It’s reminiscent of cheesecake so it’s a great substitute without all the work.

Serving Suggestions
Now that your creamy dip is ready for dipping, assemble a platter or just a bowl of fruit for yourself to enjoy with your Marshmallow Fruit Dip. It’s a great addition to a homemade fruit bouquet, too.

I like it with vanilla. I love it with Chambord. It turns it a light pink and gives the dip a mystery flavor that everyone loves, but no one can guess.
