Ingredients for the Best Lemonade

You only need three ingredients to make a refreshing, homemade Lemonade.

  • Lemons – Fresh squeezed lemons are best for making your lemonade better than ever. Resist the urge to buy bottled lemonade.
  • Simple Syrup – Simple syrup is just sugar water and it ensures there are no grainy granules of sugar in your beverage. You can make my homemade Simple Syrup or buy it at the store.
  • Water – You can use regular still water or sparkling water for a more leveled up drink.

How To Make Lemonade

Homemade Lemonade made from scratch is a must have during the summer months whether you’re at the beach or in the city. It’s tart, sweet and refreshing. It’s sunshine in a glass and it’s so incredibly simple to make.

Fresh squeezed lemon juice is blended with water and stirred with simple syrup, then poured over ice and sipped through a straw while listening to the crickets chirp in the distance.

It’s something I always have in the fridge and it’s even more delish mixed with a little libation like vodka or gin.

  1. Add all the ingredients to a pitcher with ice.
  2. Stir.
  3. Chill and serve.

This easy Lemonade recipe will last in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks but I promise you, it’s going to vanish way before that. It’s sweet, tart flavor keeps you coming back for more!

    What is simple syrup?

It’s a sugar water solution you can easily make by boiling 1 part water with 1 part sugar.
