Looking for a quick and delicious dinner idea? Aren’t we all! These air fryer pork chops are just the ticket—juicy, flavorful, and ready in no time. Perfect for a weeknight!

I have made many, many pork chops over the years. Some for the blog, some from cookbooks, some not really using a recipe at all and just winging it. And let me tell you, these air fryer pork chops are the BEST I’VE EVER MADE.
Yes, it’s a bold statement, but it’s true. The air fryer cooks the pork chops to perfection, with a crispy, golden-brown exterior and tender, juicy interior. Pork chops can be notoriously dry, but the air fryer locks in moisture and creates a perfectly tender chop every time. (It’s also great for making Air Fryer Chicken Wings and Crispy Air Fryer Salmon.)
The seasoning and marinade are on point too. A simple blend made with pantry spices gives these pork chops just the right amount of flavor without overdoing it. You can switch things up with other seasoning blends (I share some ideas later in the post!), but I love that this combination makes these air fryer pork chops pair well with just about any side.

Ingredients for Air Fryer Pork Chops
Here’s a quick rundown of what you’ll need for this recipe. For the full measurements, scroll down to the recipe card.
- Center-Cut Pork Chops – Look for ones that are 1 to 1 1/2 inch thick.
- Lemon – You’ll need the juice and the zest.
- Seasonings – Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, brown sugar, and smoked paprika, along with salt and pepper.
- Dijon Mustard – This gives the pork chops great flavor with its acidity and sharpness.
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil – To help the seasoning stick to the pork chops and achieve that crispy exterior.

I love this Air Fryer because it’s easy to use, easy to clean and has 9 different cooking modes. The price is right, too!

Tips for Making Air Fryer Pork Chops
Follow these additional pointers for perfect pork chops in the air fryer.
- Marinate for at least 30 minutes. While you can certainly make pork chops without marinating, allowing them to soak in in the flavorful marinade will take them to the next level, making them super tasty and ultra tender.
- Preheat your air fryer. You don’t need to preheat the air fryer for every recipe, but for this one it’s important to preheat it to ensure even cooking.
- Don’t overcrowd the basket. Arrange your pork chops in a single layer with enough space between each one for proper air circulation. If you don’t have room, cook them in batches.
- Use a meat thermometer. To ensure perfectly cooked pork chops, use a meat thermometer to check for doneness. This is the best way to make sure you don’t over-cook pork chops either!
- Let the pork chops rest. Resting allows the juices to redistribute and keeps your pork chops juicy and tender.

More Seasoning Ideas
If you want to switch up the seasonings with something else, try one of these:
- Cajun seasoning. This will give your pork chops a spicy kick.
- Ranch seasoning. Tangy, herbaceous, and zippy!
- Dry rub. Make your own or use store-bought.
How to Store & Reheat Leftovers
Place the leftover pork chops in an airtight container and store them in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days. For longer storage, you can freeze them by wrapping each pork chop individually in plastic wrap and placing them in a freezer-safe bag or container for up to 3 months.
Reheat your pork chops in the air fryer for the best results, but if you’re in a rush, you can also reheat them in the microwave.
