Brown Sugar Baked Brie Dip with Apples, Cranberries, and Pecans
Brown Sugar Baked Brie Dip with Apples, Cranberries and Pecans will be the hit of your next party! No one can resist rich, gooey brie paired with sweet, chewy cranberries, crunchy nuts, and crisp apples.
If you want to instantly add some class to a party, serve baked brie. Everyone will think you’re fancy and sophisticated—I mean, brie is French, after all. While I will gladly help myself to baked brie in any form, whether it’s Cranberry Brie Bites, Baked Brie with Fig Jam, or Pecan Brie and Brown Sugar Phyllo Bites, this brown sugar baked brie dip is perfect for the holiday season.
It’s made with cranberries, orange, and apples, which give it those cozy fall and winter vibes. After baking, the fruit and brown sugar get warm and jammy, the pecans become nicely toasted, and the brie is ooey-gooey cheesy perfection. Scoop this up with slices of baguette and prepare to be amazed!
This is a recipe that’s all about contrasting flavors and textures. You’ve got the savory cheese and the sweet brown sugar, which is tempered with just a little bit of tartness and acidity from the orange juice and cranberries. Then there’s the crunchy almonds, crisp apples, and melty cheese. It’s all perfectly balanced and absolutely blissful.
Ingredients for Brown Sugar Baked Brie
Here’s a quick rundown of what you’ll need for this recipe. For the full measurements, scroll down to the recipe card.
- Brie – Rather than baking the brie whole, you’ll cut it into pieces and bake it mixed with the other ingredients.
- Apple – I recommend a sweet-tart variety that stands up well to baking like Braeburn, Pink Lady, or Honeycrisp.
- Brown Sugar – Light brown sugar or dark brown sugar will both work here.
- Pecans – Since you’ll be chopping these, you can buy pecan pieces, which are less expensive than pecan halves.
- Dried Cranberries – AKA Craisins. These have a nice balance of sweet and tart flavors.
- Orange – You’ll need the orange juice and the orange zest. Zest the orange before juicing it—it’s much easier that way!

Tips and Variations
These ideas will help you make perfect brown sugar baked brie dip—and help you put your own spin on it.
- Swap the apples for pears. Or use a combination of both. In the summer, peaches are fabulous!
- Add herbs. Fresh rosemary, sage, and thyme all pair well with the flavors in this recipe.
- Use different nuts. Instead of pecans, you could use walnuts.
- Drizzle with honey. For an extra touch of sweetness, drizzle honey over the top just before serving.
- Give it a glaze. A drizzle of balsamic glaze is also tasty on this brown sugar brie dip.
What to Serve With Baked Brie Dip

- Homemade Soft Pretzels
How to Store and Reheat Leftovers
Transfer leftover baked brie dip to an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 3 days. To reheat, transfer the dip back into an oven-safe dish and warm it in the oven at 350ºF until it’s gooey and bubbling again, about 10–15 minutes. You can also reheat smaller portions in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until warmed through.
Leftovers make a tasty filling for grilled cheese sandwiches and quesadillas (similar to this crunchy caramel apple and brie quesadilla recipe).
