No Bake Cherry Cheesecake Dip
Sweet and tangy, topped with jammy cherry pie filling, this cherry cheesecake dip recipe will be the hit of any dessert table. It’s everything you love about cherry cheesecake, minus the crust!

Savory dips like Boat Dip and Dirty Martini Dip may be the most common option at parties, but let’s not forget about dessert dips. They’re a fun, unexpected treat and they’ll have everyone hovering over the dessert table so they can keep dipping and dipping and… dipping some more. This cherry cheesecake dip is no exception—it’s creamy, decadent, and tastes exactly like cheesecake filling.
But here’s a secret about this no bake dessert dip—although it’s perfect for a party, it’s also easy enough to make for an afternoon snack just because you’re craving something sweet. Just beat it all together, add the cherry pie filling, and try not to eat it all in one sitting. Unlike a regular cheesecake, there’s no baking, and unlike no-bake cheesecake, there’s no long chilling time needed. Which means you get to enjoy the cheesecake goodness that much faster, perfect for a cheesecake lover like myself.

Ingredients for Cherry Cheesecake Dip
Here’s a quick rundown of simple ingredients you’ll need for this easy recipe. For the full measurements, scroll down to the recipe card.
- Cream Cheese – Use full-fat for best results or reduced-fat if you want to trim some calories, but don’t use fat-free, which has an off flavor and texture.
- Greek Yogurt – Plain Greek Yogurt adds tanginess and a smooth texture to make this dip creamy enough for dipping. If you prefer, sour cream can be used as a substitute.
- Powdered Sugar – Also known as confectioners’ sugar. This dissolves into the dip.
- Heavy Cream – This is also labeled as heavy whipping cream. It helps the dip get a light, fluffy texture. If you don’t want to use whipping cream, you can substitute with a tub of cool whip.
- Vanilla Extract – I recommend pure vanilla extract or vanilla bean paste for the best flavor.
- Lemon Juice – This balances the sweetness with a hint of acidity; fresh lemon juice works best.
- Kosher Salt – Just a bit brings out the best in this cherry cheesecake dip.
- Cherry Pie Filling – The fruity topping! Use a good one or this Homemade Cherry Pie Filling.

Tips and Variations
Here are some helpful tips to ensure your cherry cheesecake dip turns out perfect every time, along with some ways to make it your own.
- Use softened cream cheese. Make sure the cream cheese is softened to room temperature before mixing. This ensures a smooth texture without unmixed lumps!
- Chill at least an hour. You only need to refrigerate for an hour before serving and it’s worth it—it helps the flavors come together and helps with the texture too.
- Switch up the toppings. While cherry pie filling is classic, feel free to experiment with other fruit pie filling or even fresh fruit like sliced peaches or macerated strawberries.
- Add chocolate chips. Fold mini chocolate chips into the cream cheese mixture for cherry chocolate chip cheesecake dip.
